There are 2ยฝ weeks left in 2022 and I have a message for you: stop and about-turn. When you read those words, they probably caught in your throat and you instantly thought of something. We all need to stop and turn around in some area. So letโs look at twenty things we can stop doing and how we can turn them around with truth from scripture.
STOP: taking control
ABOUT-TURN: remember God is in control
โAnd we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.
STOP: worrying
ABOUT-TURN: pray
โDonโt worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience Godโs peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
STOP: saying โI canโtโ
ABOUT-TURN: say โI canโ
โFor I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.
STOP: giving into temptation
ABOUT-TURN: escape temptation
โThe temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.
STOP: giving up

ABOUT-TURN: forgive
โSensible people control their temper; they earn respect by overlooking wrongs.
STOP: letting your mind wander

STOP: filling your mind with garbage

STOP: looking everywhere for truth
ABOUT-TURN: look to Godโs word

God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.

STOP: following whatever ideas you want
